Short answer is no, you are not allowed to ride Ebike on a sidewalk. This also applied for other vehicles such as Bike, Scooter, Escooter,.... etc

-In the situation of there is no bike lane exists, riders are not allowed to ride bike on the sidewalk. In this situation, riders are recommend to keep right and share road with other vehicles. Cars must also remain safe distance with bikers as law required.A general guideline is to maintain at least 3 feet (approximately 1 meter) of distance between a car and a cyclist. However, local laws may specify a minimum distance, and it's crucial to be attentive to road conditions and adjust the distance as needed for safety.
Special Considerations for Young Cyclists (Exemption)
- Children under 10 years old are permitted to ride on sidewalks until they acquire the necessary skills to ride on the road amidst traffic. It's crucial to note that when crossing a road within a pedestrian crossover or crosswalk, cyclists must dismount and walk their bikes to the other side.
