Our Story: From Twin Engineers to Canada’s Trusted eBike Brand

TN Ebike was founded in 2019 in a small garage by twin brothers from Vietnam who shared not only the same birthday, but the same passion for building a better world. Both graduates in Civil Engineering, the brothers spent years studying infrastructure and urban systems. Over time, they recognized a growing problem in Canadian cities — the rising cost and inefficiency of daily transportation.

They saw how traditional car ownership was becoming a burden for many especially in crowed big city like Toronto: expensive insurance, gas prices, parking struggles, and the never-ending stress of city traffic. It simply didn’t make sense anymore — not financially, and certainly not environmentally.

That’s when they discovered the potential of electric bikes.

What started as curiosity quickly turned into purpose. They realized eBikes could offer a practical, sustainable alternative that would save riders thousands of dollars every year while reducing their environmental footprint. From that vision, TN Ebike was born — a Canadian company with a mission to bring reliable, affordable electric bikes to everyday people.

But the founders didn’t stop there. After 2 years of selling different overpriced Ebikes from other brands that they partnership with, through real-world testing and valuable feedback from early riders, they discovered a clear gap in the eBike market: most electric bikes were costly, uncomfortable, and simply not designed for long, daily rides. The tiny seats and compact frames of traditional eBikes just weren’t cutting it for people who needed real comfort and performance.

What riders truly wanted was a bike that felt more like a motorcycle — strong, stylish, and built for comfort, with a seat you could actually ride on all day. A bike that had power and range, but also looked so good people would stop you on the street just to ask about it.

That vision led to the creation of the Dalat V1 — a fat tire, motorcycle-inspired electric bike built for Canadian roads and riders. With a powerful 1000W peak motor, up to 30AH long-range battery, and speeds up to 50 km/h, the Dalat V1 delivers real performance. After its first launch in 2022, the Dalat V1 Electric Bikes hit customers across Canada like a storm with their first Vintage Edition, with hundreds of units sold in under three months. Riders loved the comfort, the performance, and most of all — the way it turned heads.

To meet the growing demand and diverse needs of riders, TN Ebike expanded its lineup beyond the original Dalat V1. New models were introduced, including the Sport Edition for performance-focused riders, the Dual Battery Edition for extended range, and the Dual Beast Edition for those who wanted maximum power and rugged off-road capability.
